“ Really nice menu with a daily soufflé choice, set menu, game, soup, fish, steak .. just a few ales (as of Jan 2018) which are not very big, more on the session side ”

“ Great spot for a quiet meal. Staff were really friendly, great choice of drinks and a good menu. Starters were excellent, mains (Caunton bec burger) was a bit greasy but still good, and the chunky chips are delicious. Nice place to sit outdoors on a warm summers day. But pricey compared to other places nearby. ”

- Josh H -

“ This pub is lovely. The food is great, the service is good. The manager was so helpful and kind even providing and feeding the dog we had with us and makes a mean Malawi shandy. I highly recommend the place ”
